Cherry Lane United Methodist is celebrating 160 years of faith & fellowship with a year-long journey under the theme We Love to Tell the Story. Each month through November 2026, we’ll gather to remember, reflect, and rejoice in the stories that have shaped our church, and to celebrate our future still unfolding. All events being held on Sunday.

Telling the story through trivia! Join us for Second Sunday Supper and a lively evening of historic trivia, delicious food and warm fellowship as we celebrate the rich history we share.
April 19th During 9:00 a.m. service Cancer Awareness Sunday Rev. Bill Kuntz will share his powerful journey of survival. His story is one of faith, resilience, and hope, a reminder of God’s presence in life’s most difficult seasons.
May 3rd During 9:00 a.m. service Rev. Dan Roth We’re delighted to welcome back Rev. Dan Roth as he reflects on his years at Cherry Lane UMC, where he began his ministry with his first pastoral appointment.

Pocono Plateau Camp & Retreat
Rev. Bob Amundson, Rev. Carmen O’Shea, and Mary Ellen & Paul Klein will share reflections on Cherry Lane’s long-standing connection with the Plateau, a journey of friendships & faith
July 12th During 9:00 a.m. service Rev. Heidi Silliman Rev. Heidi Silliman will reflect on her involvement with Cherry Lane’s VBS. Join us as we celebrate the joy, faith, & lasting impact of VBS on our children & church community.
August 9th During 9:00 a.m. service Early Methodist Circuit Riders Join Bob Friday & Rev. Wendy Bellis as they bring to life the story of the early Methodist Circuit Riders, the preachers who carried the Gospel across the countryside on horseback.
September 20th 9:00 a.m. & 12 Noon Rev. Al Smith & Annual Church Picnic Celebrate Cherry Lane’s rich music ministry as we honor voices and melodies that have shaped our worship. At Noon: Annual church picnic to continue the celebration.
October 4th 9:00 a.m. Worship Service World Communion Sunday Join us as Dr. Hun Ju Lee, our District Superintendent, shares the story of our unity and diversity, celebrating our shared faith across cultures and traditions.
November 1st 9:00 a.m. Worship Service All Saints’ Sunday We gather as a congregation on All Saint’s Sunday to honor those who have shaped our story & to light the way forward. Our time capsule will be buried after our morning worship.
Anniversary Concert & Dinner Sunday November 8th 2026 4:00 pm Join us for an inspiring musical presentation by Perfect Harmony. The evening concludes with a catered dinner to celebrate our Cherry Lane United Methodist Church past, present & future. Dinner reservations required.
